Building a Full Stack Web App

Event Information Join the UCF Developer Student Club and follow along as we build a full stack web app! We'll introduce you to front end design using HTML, CSS, JS, and React. Next, we’ll dive into creating our app’s code with Python and Flask. Finally, we’ll deploy it on Google’s App Engine while also utilizing Firebase Auth and Datastore.

Prerequisites
No prerequisites to join! However, you should familiarize yourself with some of the languages and frameworks mentioned above before attending our event so that you can comfortably follow along. To make sure you’re prepared, check out our Full Stack Event Handout at dscucf.com/e/resources

For this event, you'll need a working computer with a modern browser (such as Google Chrome) and a stable internet connection.

  • Create application logic with Python and Flask
  • Integrate Datastore and Firebase Authentication
  • Deploy your app on Google’s App Engine
